Pubs partnership – hire an e-bike if you’re staying nearby

UK Electric Bikes are now available to hire from pubs local to us in Headcorn.
We’ve partnered with Shepheard Neame’s The George Hotel at Cranbrook, The Goudhurst Inn, Goudhurst and Frasers in Edgerton, to provide e-bikes for hire to their guests.
Guests can find out about us once they have booked and can contact us to arrange their hire, which we will deliver to them where they are staying ready to have a great day out. Or come to our base at Headcorn Aerodrome.
We’ll then collect the bikes at the end of the hire, making it easy and convenient for them.
Founder and director Marcus van der Gaag, said: “Partnering with local businesses is great for them and great for us; their guests have added value, whilst we get our name in front of them as something to do when they arrive.
“This area of Kent offers so much in terms of scenery, history, heritage and food and drink – plus e-bikes offer a sustainable and healthy way to look around.
“Guests book through the pub’s website, the booking comes to us and we arrange the hire – it’s really easy and we’d love to partner with more East Kent businesses this year.”
Enjoy Kent’s countryside, visits to National Trust sites, passing through the county’s towns and villages, vineyard or brewery tours.
Friends, family, colleagues – e-bike hire is a fantastic day out or weekend away!
If you’re staying locally, here’s where you can hire a bike from:
Shepheard Neame: The George Hotel at Cranbrook
This is a great spot to travel out from to any of the vineyards – the closest is Hush Heath but you’ve also got Biddenden, Woodchurch, Wayfarer, Gusborne and Chapel Down.
There are also some lovely days out – the National Trust’s Sissinghurst Gardens is nearby, plus Bedgebury Pinetum and Scotney Castle too – another National Trust site.
The Goudhurst Inn, Goudhurst
Owned by The Balfour Winery, when you stay at the Goudhurst Inn, we can arrange e-bike hire so you can cycle over to their amazing vineyard, the Hush Heath Estate.
There are also some wonderful countryside routes, or you can head out to National Trust sites – Sissinghurst Gardens and Scotney Castle are within reach.
Bedgebury Pinetum is great to visit too, and Leeds Castle is just over an hour’s ride away.
Frasers, Edgerton
We’re just five minutes from Frasers, so we can drop the bikes to you, or we welcome you to visit us!
From Frasers, you can cycle around the beautiful Kent countryside, visit the vineyards, nearby National Trust sites, or if you want a challenge, you’re just over an hour away from the Cantii Way – a circular, traffic-free route around East Kent. It’s 234km in total – waiting for you to your way around it!
