back roads and some off route
The route is 145m and should take 3-4 easy days. It passes within a few miles of our Headcorn location. It takes you around Kent’s north coast, along the east side of the county at Margate and down through Sandwich, Dover, Folkestone, Hythe and Dungeness in the south.
Inland to Rye and Woodchurch through Ashford then sweep around Canterbury. You can do it in any order – it’s circular but it promises to take you through fantastic countryside, rewarding you with amazing views.
It certainly gives you a reason to come back to complete the route over a few trips and we’d be delighted to hire you an e-bike every time. Scenery, food, drink, history, heritage and wildlife will add to the magic as you cycle back lanes, woodland trails and coastal paths – The Garden of England has it all!
