Summer Only - please get in touch to discuss dates
This electric bike garden tour will test your senses with bright colours and amazing scents. We are lucky enough to have Sissinghurst Castle Garden on our doorstep - the garden created by Vita Sackville-West and her husband, Harold Nicholson.
Other gardens that you can visit are Great Dixter, Hole Park Gardens and Godinton. We suggest you get in touch and let us know where you would like to go so that we can design a route for you.
Not all the gardens are open at all times of the year, so our route will depend on this.
A Full Day tour will visit two (or possibly three) gardens, depending on how long you would like to spend at the gardens. A Half Day tour will visit 1 garden.
Please get in touch if you would like further information.
Unguided tour, maps provided.

We supply a map of your route with handy photos of the junctions to help you navigate. New this year, we are trialling an app and you can navigate using your smartphone. Bike phone holders are provided, please bring a USB cable.
This tour visits a National Trust property so don't forget your NT membership card.
Small plants and other purchases can be transported using panniers on your electric bike
If you would like a guide there will be a charge of £100 in addition to the bike hire charge. Guides need to be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
Bike hire is available on a half-day or full-day basis starting at 10am. The reason for the earlier start is due to the fact that everyone loves to get out and about and there is so much to see and do. Later starts can be pre arranged but bikes should be back for 4pm.
We provide the following equipment for your electric bike hire.
* Electric bike with either a 40 or 60 mile battery
* maps and what to see and do (new phone version available)
*Helmet
* Lock
* Pannier
When you arrive we will give you information about the route you have chosen with basic facts and where to stop and what to do. We will then show you how to use an electric bike and you will test ride your bike to make sure that you are happy. After a fun photo as a momento, we then give you a safety brief and where in particular you should take care before you set off.
When you have a safety brief, we will give you our emergency contact details.
If you have a pucture you can call us and we will get out to you with a replacement bike as soon as we can. We also give you some tyre sealant that in most cases can be added to the tyre and pumped up.
His happens on very rare occasions! If you run the ebike in high power all the time there is a chance you could run out so use it as explained in your briefingh.
If you run out of battery, your ebike can still be pedalled like a normal bike, however please call the emergency number and we can try and swap the bike over.
We will ask you to text us periodically with your location so we know where you are on the route. However most of the time we can help you by turning on your geolocation on your phones. Reception in the area is vastly improved in the last 4 years. Dont forget we can always come and rescue you but if your worried or getting late (after 3pm) just call us and there are a number of shortcuts
